Leafy Reeds

These pictures are from when I went snorkeling around  a place in the lake called black rock in which off to the side of it there is a huge weed bed and here are some of the close-ups of the weeds that I have seen.

Odd Shaped Rock 2

This is a rock that I found during low water mark.  It looks so cool because its sitting on a  rock around an inch bellow the water, making it appear to float. Comment and give your opinion what you think the rock looks like.

Cloud Reflection

It was the perfect day,  not a single cloud in the sky, and the water was calm enough to see the clouds reflected off the surface of the water.  On days like today are the days you just sit back and watch the world work.

Calm Ducks

These hooded mergansers are calm for the moment but any sort of rustle or other signs of trouble they can be off in a heart beat, even the babies can swim so fast their bellies don’t even touch the water.  This was also a picture that I took on lake Wabatongushi.

Foggy Sunrise

This is the sunrise and moonrise got on this lake and it is truly worth waking or staying up late for.  This is a truly beautiful sight and is also the same area in which the famous Group of 7 painters (well famous in Canada anyways) started there work.

Sea Turtle Swimming

This is a turtle that i encountered while snorkeling off the coast of mexico in the Mayan Riviera last year. The place specifically where i went to is known to have these turtles grazing along the bottom and while I was snorkeling all i could here was the sound of turtles munching on sea weed.

The Baby Bear Named Fluffy

One of the baby bears over at bear point near our lodge, this was one is named Fluffy.  Bear point is located on lake Wabatongushi on a pinical going out onto the Lake this guy is only four or five months old. It is important to remember though that bears should still be treated with caution because even a four or five month old bear like Fluffy could still do some significant damage, but they are still a wonderful animal to see.

The Beautiful evening sunlight shines on the rock in the back bay in the far north end of the lake, as well as the row of three rocks in the rocky shoal near by.
